Heat Pumps

The electric heat pump is one of the most efficient heating and cooling systems available for home or business use. Technological advances coupled with sharply increased fossil fuel prices have positioned these systems to be more comfortable and far less costly to use than ever before. With CEC’s load control rate, the typical home using an all electric heat pump and water heater system will beat the cost of an identical home using gas by 20-30% or more.

CEC has developed a significant incentive program for homeowners installing heat pumps in their new home or converting an existing home to a heat pump system.

CEC will pay $250 per ton of capacity for new heat pump systems. If your home requires a 4 ton system, your incentive will be $1000, while a home needing two 3 ton systems would receive $1500! Now that’s an incentive! To qualified borrowers with good credit, CEC will even loan the money for the installation at 6% simple interest for up to 7 years. Call for details.

Water Heaters

CEC is still giving away free electric water heaters. That’s right. If you need a new water heater, don’t sweat. We keep them in stock at all three of our offices and they are free. There is only one catch. You must sign up for the load control program to receive the new one for free. But hey, you save money on the new rate so what is there to lose? If you are building a new home or are replacing a gas water heater with electric, we have one in stock just for you. The program provides 40 and 50 gallon electric water heaters. 80 gallon tanks are also available if the application warrants the larger tank. Call for details.
